     Micro LED technology got breakthrough, hong hai navy to seize the new generation of apple panel business.

     MicroLED technology breakthrough hong hai to highlight the new generation of apple panel businesson July 12. ELux, a start-up company of MicroLED owned by hong hai, revealed that it has obtained a patent in fluid assembly and positioning technology, which can realize maximum assembly speed and is a major breakthrough in technology. The shareholders of eLux include group chuang, rongchuang and sharp, etc., and eLux has made major technological breakthroughs. Group chuang and rongchuang will also play key roles in assisting hon hai to seize the business opportunity of new generation panel of apple.   

   With the rapid development of panel technology, in order to break the long-term dependence on samsung for supply and achieve the goal of "de-samsung", apple is actively engaged in the development of new generation panel. It has previously been reported that apple is optimistic about the future of MicroLED, has developed the relevant display technology secretly in the United States, and relied on Taiwanese engineers, hon hai group is apple's partner Samsung has even expressed the hope of mass production of super-size MicroLED TVS, driving more manufacturers to invest in development.

       Apple's new patent for Micro LED has been unveiled to enhance the stability of the microdevice array.

      At present, among several key technologies for Micro LED breakthrough, massive transfer is an important part, and many manufacturers have developed different breakthroughs.

     SelfArray, an American start-up, demonstrated directional self-assembly technology, which USES magnetic force to transfer MicroLED wafers to PCB substrates.

     In terms of laser transfer technology, Uniqarta, a us startup company, introduces LEAP laser advanced placement technology. QMAT is equipped with a detection scheme and USES lasers to do Beam-AddressedRelease. KIMM, a research institute in South Korea, is proposing the technology.

     In addition, major manufacturers such as Samsung, Sony and yoda have demonstrated MicroLED related conceptual products in 2018, and Samsung has even expressed the hope of mass production of super-size MicroLED TVS, driving more manufacturers to invest in development.

     Apple's new patent for Micro LED has been unveiled to enhance the stability of the microdevice array.

     After Apple bought Micro LED display company LuxVue Technology two years ago, it has stepped up its efforts to lay out Micro LED related Technology patents, all the more remarkable. A new patent for LuxVue was issued earlier, relating to the stabilization of the microdevice array structure.

     LuxVue applied for the stability technology patent of the miniature device on November 3, 2015, which is also a continuation of another patent of the same name applied on April 8, 2015. According to the U.S. patent and trademark office (USPTO), the patented technology includes a special stabilization layer that stabilizes the array of miniature devices on the substrate, such as microminiaturized LED devices and microchips, and ensures that the system remains stable during the transfer process.   

        The special stable layer is made of thermosetting plastic (Epoxy), Benzocyclobutene (BCB) and other materials. According to the patent data, the stable layer structure contains cavitation and column array. Column array spacing is about 1 to 100 microns, each stable column is located in the center of the hole, surrounded by external wall protection, and the column above is a miniature device.
