Summary ： The products of benzocyclobutene series are mainly applied in the field of microelectronics industry, including dielectric thin film materials with high performance, aerospace materials, IOL materials and IC packaging materials. Benzocyclobutene (BCB) is the simplest polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon and consists of a benzene ring and a cyclobutane ring. BCB is often used to make photosensitive polymers. The polymeric dielectric based on BCB can be adapted to a variety of photographic plates used in micromotor systems or microelectronic processing. Its applications include chip bonding, optical interconnections, low-K dielectrics, and even neural implants.
